Under the title „UNVEILING“, the MUCA is showing highlights from its permanent collection in Munich.
The basement of the main building has been remodelled to create new spaces for special works from the extraordinary collection - including outstanding representatives of urban and contemporary art, such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Keith Haring, Invader, Antony Micallef, Kusama, Swoonand much more.
The MUCA collection began in 1998 with the first works attributable to pop and street art culture. In the course of the MUCA's development, it has been expanded to include important international artists.
Today, the MUCA collection includes important works by artists from the fields of urban and contemporary art. It comprises over 1,200 objects and works.
At regular intervals we offer our Themed tour focussing on the MUCA's own collection on. In this guided tour, visitors learn more about our permanent exhibition and the history of the MUCA.
After the approx. 45-minute tour, all participants have time to stroll through the museum and examine the works.
Our guide is happy to answer questions and looks forward to an active exchange with the group.
