The exhibition \"Icons of Urban Art<\/strong><\/a>\" in the\u00a0Chungmu Art Centre<\/a><\/strong> in Seoul is being extended: Due to popular demand, the MUCA is now showing the centrepieces of its collection in Seoul. until 2 March 2025<\/strong> in South Korea<\/strong>.<\/p>

The exhibition, which will open in 2020 at the MUCA<\/strong> celebrated its premiere in Munich, comprises outstanding works from the MUCA collection. The focus is on ten internationally recognised artists and pioneers of urban art: Banksy, Barry McGee, Invader, JR, Kaws, Os Gemeos, Richard Hambleton, Shepard Fairey, Swoon <\/strong>and Vhils<\/strong>.<\/p>

Since summer 2023, the MUCA has been presenting \"Icons of Urban Art\" internationally for the first time. As part of the \"MUCA goes Japan\" tour<\/a> the more than 80 iconic masterpieces from the MUCA collection were on display in the most renowned museums in Oita, Kyoto and Tokyo. The exhibition attracted over a quarter of a million visitors. The works then travelled on to South Korea<\/strong> and have been on display there since the beginning of October 2024.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
