MUCA on tour

MUCA Art in public space

Since the project’s launch in 2013, MUCA on tour cultivates Germany as a creative base, building alliances with cultural organizations, artists, the private sector and urban partners.

The idea is to retrieve art from institutional conditions and bring it into public or non-art spaces. Particular art pieces from MUCA will be displayed in different places in Munich, Germany and all over the world, and walls will be designed by international and local street artists in order to open minds for art in public areas.

MUCA on tour curates the presentation of art beyond the museum and enables visitors to explore street art at no charge in many different locations.
