SWOON – Time Capsule
The exhibition ‘Time Capsule’ displays works and installations by American artist SWOON, a retrospective of her creative process across two decades. SWOON is considered one of the most significant women in street art and is also an established mixed-media artist with numerous exhibitions in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the New Orleans Museum of Art and Tate Modern in London. She mainly works with paste prints and life-sized, figurative cut-outs, exploring life and its multi-dimensional narratives. This exhibition in MUCA is her first ever museum exhibition in Germany.
